I learned to knit after the birth of my first child in 2007. The urge to create something that is filled with warmth and love to wrap around our precious baby was overwhelming. What seemed like an 'innocent' hobby soon turned into a *ahem* addiction *ahem* to yarn that is soft and colourful. After purchasing my first skein of Malabrigo, I was immediately smitten by how incredibly soft the wool was and the vibrant colours simply captured my heart. Thus, Yarnandkisses was born in Western Australia, stocked with Malabrigo to share with fellow Australasian yarn lovers. Now residing in Tasmania, we have, due to the overwhelming support of our customers (you!), been able to add to our store our very own hand-dyed range of yarn and fibre, as well as hand made soap! What better way to pamper yourself than with pretty yarn to knit or crochet with while smelling fresh after a shower? Now with three little kids in tow, we are a very busy little family! My love for soft and colourful yarn has not ceased and in fact, I've picked up another hobby; spinning! Spinning and producing my own yarn adds to the satisfaction to the finished knitted project and makes it even more 'hand-made'!
