Shipping and Returns

Our system will now automatically calculate your shipping charges (based on Australia Post's rates). However, in the event of a technical error, we will arrange a refund of any "excess" due to you. Yarnandkisses will absorb any shortfalls that do not exceed A$5. Should the amount exceeds A$5 we would contact you for arrangements to reimburse yarnandkisses. We thank you for your understanding.

SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Yarnandkisses uses Australia Post Prepaid Satchels for all delieveries under 1kg.
Please choose from either Normal Post Satchel (5 to 10 working days for delivery) or the Express Post Satchel (1 to 2 working days for delivery.)

Normal Post Satchels
Please note that under this option, Yarnandkisses CANNOT accept responsibility of parcels lost or damaged by Australia Post.
However, we recommend that you register your parcel for an extra charge of A$2.80. This way, your parcel will be traceable and compensation is provided for lost or damaged articles for up to A$100. Do contact us if you want to register your parcel.

Express Post Satchels
Express Post Satchels come with a tracking number and will take only 1 to 2 working days to reach you. Compensation is provided for lost or damaged articles for up to A$50 by Australia Post.

Calculating Postage
A 500g prepaid satchel can hold up to 400g of items (eg, four skeins of 100g yarn). Therefore, including handling charges, a normal post satchel will cost A$6 while an express post satchel will cost A$8.30.

A 3kg prepaid satchel can hold up to 2.9kg of items. However, we are only able to accomodate 1kg worth of yarn into it, which is 10 skeins of 100g yarn. A normal post satchel costs A$10.20 and an express post satchel costs A$11.60, inclusive of handling charges.

Parcels outside these ranges (500g and 3kg) will be calculated automatically based on Australia Post's rates at check out. Cost of postage will be distance-based. As such, as a requirement, these parcels will be registered so that in the event Australia Post misplaces the parcel, you can be compensated.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA
Our shopping cart is now able to calculate worldwide shipping cost. If you are living overseas, please fill in your address (and Country). After adding items you have decided to purchase to your cart, click on 'estimate shipping' to view the various shipping options and prices.

RETURNS 
Should your parcel be damaged during shipping, please retain the original packaging and email us immediately.
